The gasoline version is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine, which produces 156 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The Uni-K has a fuel consumption rating of around 7.3 liters per 100 kilometers (32 miles per gallon) in combined driving conditions.

The hybrid version of the Uni-K is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine combined with an electric motor, which produces a total output of 258 horsepower and 415 Nm of torque. The hybrid system is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The Uni-K hybrid has a fuel consumption rating of around 5.6 liters per 100 kilometers (42 miles per gallon) in combined driving conditions.
