Hyundai plans to manufacture Электромобилей with local batteries in Indonesia from August 2024, including the Ioniq 5 model, capitalizing on the country’s EV tax incentives. Hyundai Energy Indonesia will use batteries from the joint venture with LG New Energy for locally produced EVs.
